Ever wondered if someone else who was born on the same day as yours would just might have the same characteristics as yourself? Or someone else having the same name will be like you too? (It’s kinda freaky to think that there’s another lazy worm in this world like me)
I do have a friend whom I met from Adelaide, Ida, who happen to be born on the same day, same month and same YEAR as me! And do you know what the wierdest thing was? We were both very charming people!(wahaha… not trying to sell my good traits online, just telling the truth!) Good thing is, Ida is more hardworking than I am, so she helped lot when we were working on our assignment! (It’s important to have a hardworking groupmate just so to know, coz it sucks like S*** if you are paired with people who does nothing and do not attend meetings and you can’t do anything about it.)

(From left: Me, Ida)
(Thought: Maybe there’s something to do with our time of birth eh… Some Chinese calculation thing called “Pat Chi” may be the answer to our difference in personality)
Anyway, I was surfing the internet and look what I found—- more Pei Yun’s in this world!
There were like endless pages of titles when I searched with Yahoo on “Pei Yun”… Behold the Top 5 Pei Yuns’ in this world!
***
#5…
Pei Yun Hsueh, Taiwanese (am just guessing) in Edinburgh with a PHD in Student/Research Associate who published books about linguistics and stuff like that. Did I mention she’s quite pretty too?
# 4…
Yun (Steven) Pei: Just because he has my name reversed doesn’t mean he can have my name to be used as a guy’s! It’s not fair!
By the way, Steven here has a photography website in LA (updated since 2006… not too long ago lah, so i figure he’s my age)
Yun Pei took the photo above. Ngyeh, I think I can do better. That’s why I made it small.. Better not waste my space. :) lol
#3…
Chu Pei-Yun (Hey look! 90% similarity in our names! Only different spelling with the surname)
All I got about this Chu Pei-Yun person is that he/she is a screenwriter from this Chinese (Taiwan) movie called Moon River Lake which was released in 1996.
The next two names that I am about to introduce is (fu-yoh) probably gonna make some of you laugh like I just did with my brother. These people have high levels of respect by their followers and have expanded their names to the States and Italy. Sounds cool, don’t u think? (**grin**)
#2…
Master Li Pei Yun: A Chinese Wushu master based in New Jersey. Apparently he owns a Wushu centre there and have won multiple competitions AND was a WORLD CHAMPION on NBL in 2001!
And there’s more where that came from.. He even has his own wushu video where you have to purchase it (with money)! Looks good too!

Lets also not forget about his video! (Look what I found in Youtube… haha)
Master Guo Pei Yun (1900-1978): This guy was from an Inner Mongolia place called the ShanXi Province and dedicated his life to Kung Fu.
He won No. 1 in my list just because he was the oldest of them all. RESPECT THE ELDERS!

Master Guo Pei Yun(middle) and his students…

Guess what else that I found? Swee San’s old blog which she wrote about the pot luck gathering a few years ago at my house! With my name, in BOLD!
Then there were other random Pei Yun’s like Teo Pei Yun (PY), Lin PY, PY Ho, Suen PY, Yap PY, Tsai Py…etc etc (you get the picture)
So there you go.
Wishing all the other Pei Yuns in this world be well and happy.

I liked your articles and photos, especially the one of the old kungfu guys. Nice work! Just a note, Wushu-Kungfu Master Li Pei Yun (the one with the video) and I lived together for 10 years during all of his competition days here in the U.S. I was there with him when he was NOT winning EVER, all the way to where he was winning EVERYTHING all the time! Quite a decade, let me tell you.
