(No) Life at Work…

I guess the headline answers all about my working life.

Everyday wake up, go to work, go home, sleep, wake up, go to work, go home, sleep… It’s like a never ending cycle and all I look forward for is for the weekend to come. wtf. Darn. It’s monday tomorrow.

Sometimes I enjoy my new job lar… not to say that it’s the worst job ever as I actually get to be in contact with people around the world and there are a lot to learn from this company… Would be better if the $$$$ is $$$$$ (lima digit) haha!!

Erm… okay.. let me talk something outside work.

Life is taking its course

I’m Jobless… no more!

Well at least it’s a breath of relief from my parents who worried for a while… lol…

But honestly, I have to give credit to my dad for introducing me to this job. So I think I owe him a lunch or something after I get my pay… Not forgetting the 300 Ringgit traffic fine that I have to pay and plane tickets which I booked with his credit card and so many more expenses.. lol..  (So much for not trying to depend on parents huh.. ;P)

I even went shopping for working clothes yesterday and “swiped” for 7 pieces of clothes. Gosh, spending never felt this good!

Wtf, I’m starting work next week and probably getting my pay only a month later and I’m already in deep debt and still planning on how to spend all my money!!! What the….

let me quote something from a random how-to-get-rich-financial book…

“… jobs don’t create wealth, but they create temporary income. There’s a big difference between the two.”  Hope this line is help me from spending unneccesarily!

Stuck in the world of fantasy….

I need halp help.

I’m addicted to astro and online TV. When I’m not doing anything, I’m watching  TV or some other shows on my laptop. Now I can’t think straight.

Seriously, I find it hard to concentrate and be mindful after watching TV too much. Shows like Heroes, American Idol, and some other WLT (wah lai toi) evening programmes are already a part of my daily routine.

When I’m not with my TV, I’m watching something else online. This new programme called PP Live has so many good shows I can spend the whole day watching it. OMG!

As much as I enjoy having some time to relax, I want to be out there working and getting busy already! Hopefully I’ll be getting some reply from the many companies that I have applied to very soon…

It’s all about me

Ever wondered if someone else who was born on the same day as yours would just might have the same characteristics as yourself? Or someone else having the same name will be like you too? (It’s kinda freaky to think that there’s another lazy worm in this world like me)

I do have a friend  whom I met from Adelaide, Ida, who happen to be born on the same day, same month and same YEAR as me! And do you know what the wierdest thing was? We were both very charming people!(wahaha… not trying to sell my good traits online, just telling the truth!) Good thing is, Ida is more hardworking than I am, so she helped lot when we were working on our assignment! (It’s important to have a hardworking groupmate just so to know, coz it sucks like S*** if you are paired with people who does nothing and do not attend meetings and you can’t do anything about it.)

(From left: Me, Ida)

(Thought: Maybe there’s something to do with our time of birth eh… Some Chinese calculation thing called “Pat Chi” may be the answer to our difference in personality)

Anyway, I was surfing the internet and look what I found—- more Pei Yun’s in this world!

There were like endless pages of titles when I searched with Yahoo on “Pei Yun”… Behold the Top 5 Pei Yuns’ in this world!

***

#5…

Pei Yun Hsueh, Taiwanese (am just guessing) in Edinburgh with a PHD in Student/Research Associate who published books about linguistics and stuff like that. Did I mention she’s quite pretty too?

# 4…

Yun (Steven) Pei: Just because he has my name reversed doesn’t mean he can have my name to be used as a guy’s! It’s not fair!

By the way, Steven here has a photography website in LA (updated since 2006… not too long ago lah, so i figure he’s my age)

Yun Pei took the photo above. Ngyeh, I think I can do better. That’s why I made it small.. Better not waste my space.  :) lol

#3…

Chu Pei-Yun  (Hey look! 90% similarity in our names! Only different spelling with the surname)

All I got about this Chu Pei-Yun person is that he/she is a screenwriter from this Chinese (Taiwan) movie called Moon River Lake which was released in 1996.

The next two names that I am about to introduce is (fu-yoh) probably gonna make some of you laugh like I just did with my brother. These people have high levels of respect by their followers and have expanded their names to the States and Italy. Sounds cool, don’t u think? (**grin**)

#2…

Master Li Pei Yun: A Chinese Wushu master based in New Jersey. Apparently he owns a Wushu centre there and have won multiple competitions AND was a WORLD CHAMPION on NBL in 2001!

And there’s more where that came from.. He even has his own wushu video where you have to purchase it (with money)! Looks good too!

Master Li Pei Yun

Lets also not forget about his video! (Look what I found in Youtube… haha)

THE WINNER #1…

Master Guo Pei Yun  (1900-1978): This guy was from an Inner Mongolia place called the ShanXi Province and dedicated his life to Kung Fu.

He won No. 1 in my list just because he was the oldest of them all. RESPECT THE ELDERS! :)

Guo Pei Yun

Master Guo Pei Yun(middle) and his students…

*****

Guess what else that I found? Swee San’s old blog which she wrote about the pot luck gathering a few years ago at my house! With my name, in BOLD!

Then there were other random Pei Yun’s like Teo Pei Yun (PY), Lin PY, PY Ho, Suen PY, Yap PY, Tsai Py…etc etc (you get the picture)

So there you go.

Wishing all the other Pei Yuns in this world be well and happy.
